Questions and answers
Questions about contacting CTI
Where each kind of enquiry goes, whether you need to know which assessment you want first, and how enquiry information is handled.
How do I contact CTI?
Through the form on this page, or directly by email. General enquiries, including assessments and commissioning, go to contact@ctindex.org. Government and public programme work, research collaboration, investor enquiries, partnerships, media, careers and privacy requests each have their own address, listed on this page, because they are answered by different people against different material.
I am not sure which CTI assessment I need. Can I still get in touch?
Yes. Arriving with a commercial question rather than a product name is the normal case, and it is the better one. The four assessment routes differ in the evidence they rest on and how far into the commercial system they reach, so the question you are trying to answer decides the route rather than the other way round.
Where should government or public programme enquiries go?
To programmes@ctindex.org, or by selecting the government or public programme enquiry type on the form. Programme work applies one commercial methodology across a participant population to produce a comparable baseline, the constraints that recur, and evidence for where support should be targeted. The engagement page sets out the operating model and what a programme receives.
Where should research collaboration enquiries go?
To research@ctindex.org. Collaboration is normally built around a defined population and a defined commercial research question, and it operates inside the consent, evidence-class and provenance rules the methodology already publishes. The published method can also be examined and applied without commissioning anything.
Can I discuss a Full CTI Audit before commissioning one?
Yes. The audit reviews evidence across all ten commercial domains and involves people from several parts of a business, so establishing whether it is the right route, what evidence would be needed and what the result can and cannot support is a normal first step rather than a formality.
Can chambers or industry bodies contact CTI about cohort work?
Yes. Cohort work across a membership goes to programmes@ctindex.org, or select the chamber, membership or industry body enquiry type on the form. A membership is already a defined population, which is the condition cohort measurement needs: assessing members under one method produces a capability baseline for the membership, segmentation by sector, size or region, and the constraints that recur among members.
Where should media enquiries go?
To media@ctindex.org, stating the publication, the subject and the deadline. Published research can be cited without asking: every publication carries its methodology version, the population it describes, the period it covers and what it cannot establish, and those travel with the figure.
How will information submitted through the contact form be handled?
Under the published privacy notice, which sets out what is collected, why, and what happens to information supplied during an assessment. An enquiry is used to answer the enquiry. It does not subscribe you to anything, and consent for research use of assessment evidence is recorded separately from taking part at all. Requests about your own information go to privacy@ctindex.org.
Can I contact CTI about working with or contributing to the organisation?
Yes. Careers and contributor interest goes to careers@ctindex.org, or select the corresponding enquiry type on the form. Interest is registered against the kind of work it fits rather than against a posted vacancy: research, analysis, commercial systems, programme work, evidence and data, or publishing. Advisory, delivery and technology partnership enquiries go to partners@ctindex.org instead.
